65 - Discovering the Cape Verde Islands - part 1

In this episode we have arrived in the port of Palmeira on the island of Sal in the Cape Verde Islands. We check in to the country and grab a local SIM card, but after resting from our passage for 2 nights we decide to depart....it's far too dirty and dusty, and we did not find much of interest to us to see here. So we sailed west to the island of Sao Nicolao, where we found a nicer temporary anchorage for a night, then move to the west side, where we find some great snorkelling off a beach. It's starting to feel like tropical snorkelling, with coral reefs, reef fish, a ray swimming under the boat, puffer fish, and more! Thanks for following!
