Not quite. This boat project is only just getting started 😅 This week, Phoebe and I are mounting stern rails, sealing and mounting engine room hatches. We're pushing hard to get this Cat out of the marina and onto anchor within the next 2 months...marina fees add up fast. But to get out of here, the job list is HUGE. On top of that, we need to sell our home of five years ‘Innerbloom’ to pay off loans and keep this project moving forward. Then, we have our worst day in recent memory - a day so full of expensive mistakes we could've bought a whole extra month on the hardstand. It hits us that we can’t keep pushing ourselves, we're run down from 3 solid months on this project. The truth is, you can’t run at full pelt forever. We need to take a couple of steps back to keep moving forward and that means better routines, looking after our health, and taking a proper day off to reconnect.
