In this video, BuzzFeed producer Erin Phraner shares 5 easy Thanksgiving ideas for your holiday table. Everything from holiday decor to easy appetizers... CHEESE & CRACKER PUMPKIN PIES: slice your favorite hart cheese (cheddar works well) into bite-size triangles. Break ruffles crackers (like baked Ritz crackers) into pieces and attach to the triangles using cream cheese spread in a plastic bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe some cream cheese spread on top of each to look like “whipped cream.” TURKEY WINE BOTTLES: bend and twist pipe cleaners into teardrop shapes. Attach to the back of a wine bottle neck using hot glue. Attach a gobbler and beak to the front using glue, too. Use a black permanent marker to draw eyes. Note: wine bottles with a red or yellow neck work best) CHOCOLATE-COVERED STRAWBERRY TURKEYS: break pretzel sticks in half and dip the un-broken ends in melted white chocolate; let harden. Dip strawberries in melted milk chocolate and attach the pretzel legs (using more melted milk chocolate if needed). Refrigerate until set. TURKEY PLACE CARDS: fold a piece of construction paper in half and then fold like a fan to create a pleated tail. Tape to the back of an upside down paper cup. Make a beak out of construction paper and tape or glue to the front. Use a black marker to draw eyes. Write names on white paper or sticky labels and add to the cup. SWEET P’TOT-O CASSEROLE BITES: Bake frozen sweet potato tots as the instructions on the packaging directs, taking them out halfway through the baking time. While they bake, microwave 4 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon & 2 tablespoons brown sugar until melted, 30-60 seconds. Toss there half-baked tots with the cinnamon butter and return to the oven to finish baking. Top with mini marshmallows and broil until toasted.
