2025 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 World Championships - Day Three Highlights
Day 3 brought big breeze, fast foiling, and surprise leaders in Cagliari! đ đŽđš Home favourites Gianluigi Ugolini & Maria Giubilei stormed into the Nacra 17 lead with back-to-back wins, while đŦđ§ Gimson & Burnet slipped to second and a flying Dutch duo closed in fast. In the 49erFX, đ¸đĒ Vilma Bobeck & Ebba Berntsson shocked the fleet by leading the Worlds after only three weeks sailing together, tied on points with đ¨đĻ Georgia & Antonia Lewin-LaFrance and just ahead of đĒđ¸ Paola Barcelo & Maria Cantero. And in the 49er Menâs fleet, đĻđē Jack Ferguson & Jack Hildebrand climbed into first overall after a consistent qualifying series, with đĩđą Poland, đŗđą the Netherlands, and đĒđ¸ Spain all in close pursuit.
