2021 RMYC Sailing School at Euromed International Regatta

The RMYC Sailing School was present in full force in Mellieħa at the annual Euromed International Regatta, sponsored by Mapfre and supported by Yachting Malta. Stars of the show were Jacob Carl Delia, who finished in third place in the Optimist Beginners’ Class. Jacob won four of the eleven races won, which was very positive considering his lack of experience when compared to the other sailors. In the ILCA Class 6 Dimitris Vertsonis also took third place. On the first day mast damage forced him to retire but made up for it on the second day when he won all four races. In ILCA Class 4, RMYC Ladies Lara Merten and Sophie Vilette finished the Regatta as first and third female respectively. Thank you Malta Young Sailors Club for hosting us!
