1 Month Living Aboard Sailing Catamaran Lost Cat - Life at 8 Knots - Cruising the East Coast Ep. 1

Today marks our 1 month liveaboard anniversary, YAY! On May 25, 2020, the Captain and I left our home in Benbrook, TX to pursue our dream of living an alternative life aboard a catamaran. And we've done A LOT in just a month's time! We travelled 300 nautical miles from our boat's dock in North Miami Beach all the way up to Saint Mary's, GA where we are currently anchored (June 27, 2020). Along the way we made stops in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Cape Canaveral, the Ponce De Deon Inlet, and Saint Augustine until crossing over the FL/GA line to Saint Mary's. Join us in this video as we: - Say goodbye to our first home in Texas. - Pack up our cat, Kirby, to embark on a 2 day drive to our boat in FL. - Replace broken solar panels. (BOAT = Bust Out Another Thousand!) - Enjoy a sunny day in Miami before cruising up the Intracoastal. - Watch the SpaceX rocket, Falcon 9, take off from Cape Canaveral. - Catch and eat a Spanish Mackeral! - Take in the views from the top of the Ponce De Leon Lighthouse. - Check out the sites of the oldest city in the USA.
