Keep in mind we bought her at auction without ever meeting the owner! The owner was sailing along and ran aground - hard. Hard enough that the keel pivoted and pushed the aft end up into the hull. This force cracked the internal grid in several places and broke a portion of the grid free from hull. At some point an inspection was done, insurance was called and decisions were made. Vlog#2 This had to be the most nervous we were on the whole trip. We left Canada and as per our internet research, we didnt have proper papers to cross borders. We tried to get Decorum registered but the Canadian Government was so backlogged it was obviously not going to happen, so we just decided to winggggg it, and try to get in with just the boat license we had. We arrived at Roche Harbour and everything went fine, the officers were really nice and it was a wayyyy easier process than we thought it was going to be!
