What causes your boat electronics to randomly reboot the moment you power up your chartplotters? For two seasons, our Nautitech 46 Open had a frustrating gremlin — the Victron Cerbo GX would restart whenever the sailing instruments came online. No faults, no alarms, just… silence, then a reboot.In this video I finally track it down.Using an oscilloscope, I captured exactly what was happening during startup — and the culprit was a classic marine startup brownout: the simultaneous inrush current from multiple devices pulling the voltage low enough to drop the Cerbo GX offline. I'll explain how cable impedance turns ordinary startup loads into a real problem, walk through the clues that ruled out other causes, and show the capacitor-bank fix that solved it for good. In this episode, our time in Maupiti comes to an end with a last-minute shopping spree to spend our remaining French Polynesian francs and a special package pickup for a family in Maupihā‘a. Then we set sail in what looked like the perfect weather window… but, as usual, the forecast had other plans. After an overnight passage, we arrived at one of the skinniest passes we’ve ever entered, surrounded by thousands of birds and thankfully calm seas. We couldn’t wait to finally experience everything Maupihā‘a had to offer — dinner with the local family, exploring the remote atoll, and soaking in one of the most isolated places in French Polynesia. We had a fairly short time in Greenland but made the most of it. Icebergs, ice-filled fjords, glaciers and waterfalls kept us constantly amazed with the natural beauty around us.

Our final week in the marina for good - closing an arduous 11 months in this boatyard. We thought mounting our hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stainless steel handrails was supposed to be an easy job, that was until we realised we were finishing a job half started from someone else. siamo partiti da Porto Garibaldi con Simone , Daniele e la sua Sophie un gib Sea 362 un cruiser di 46 piedi , inizialmente volevamo andare a Unjie in Croazia poi invece abbiamo cambiato direzione ci siamo fermati a Portić perché non c'era vento con un mare vecchio di prua quindi tutto si è un po' complicato.
