The all important Anchor Beer

A look into what its like to surf camp the Outer Banks of North Carolina on a good size hurricane swell. We don't have much surf footage because we were all out in the challenging conditions. Even if we had someone on the beach filming, the wait time it took to paddle out, and the time between rides was too long. Plus a strong south moving current. I rode the lifeguard rescue board the first day and the bodyboard for day 2. The waves were powerful and numerous.

Here we are sailing after just passing under the opened Snake Creek Bridge back out to Florida Bay. We sunset sail east for about a hour and a half to our night anchorage after passing through the Cowpens Cut. We anchored up southeast of the north Tavernier Creek entrance markers in about 7'-0" of water. Where are the seagulls in the Florida Keys? Thanks for watching! Fair winds and Seas! John
