Well what can I say, the fiddly jobs and bad news just kept coming! That "rusty bit" and "small leak" turned out to be a rather large hole and quite a lot of water. Apart from being interrupted by leaks, in this video I fit vinyl under the bed, re-purpose a kitchen cupboard, and adjust the bottom shelf of the bookcase. Holes in Rubber inflatable boats are a huge pain. There's a right way and a wrong way to fix them. The first step is to identify whether your boat is PVC or hypalon. These two materials require different repair methods. In this video I'll show you how to repair these holes, and these methods also apply to cracks and tears. Day 1 of our Scotland adventure starts early… very early. We’re heading from Hampshire up to Scotland to begin the NC500, with a long day of driving ahead of us. After a broken night’s sleep in a motorway stop (thanks to loud cars and even louder exhausts), we push on north with seven-plus hours still to go. Somewhere past Birmingham, stopping at a quiet reservoir, the journey really begins to change. Motorways slowly give way to hills, valleys and that first proper feeling of Scotland — including the moment we finally pass the “Welcome to Scotland” sign. By the end of the day, the miles are worth it. We arrive at an incredible spot at the end of Loch Ness, with a private beach, a stream, space for a small campfire and views that make every tired mile disappear. In today’s episode, we will explore the destination of Marion, Massachusetts. Marion is located in Sippican Harbor which is off of Buzzards Bay. If you haven’t sailed Buzzards Bay, put it on your bucket list. Marion and the Beverly Yacht Club are located a short sail off of Buzzards Bay in Sippican Harbor. If you are transiting through the Cape Cod Canal, it’s a very convenient stopover. If you’re a sailor, you may have heard of Marion, as it is the start of the Marion to Bermuda race. The Marion to Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race is held in odd-numbered years, from Marion, Massachusetts to the island of Bermuda, a distance of 645 nautical miles One of the highlights of this trip was getting a mooring right next to Tabor Boy, a ninety-two foot, gaff-rigged, two-masted schooner.
