Passionné de voile depuis 30 ans, c’est pour répondre à ce besoin que j’ai développé la manivelle de winch électrique Ewincher, il va pouvoir vous assister dans toutes vos manœuvres et sur tous vos winchs en gardant votre plaisir et vos sensations intacts. === Présentation du produit === Ewincher est une manivelle de 10 pouces de long, comme une manivelle de winch standard, qui s’adapte donc parfaitement à tous les plans de ponts. Elle pèse seulement 2.2 kg, est assistée électriquement grâce à une batterie amovible et est équipée d’un blocage sur winch. Ewincher est pensée dans ses moindres détails pour une ergonomie idéale : • Sa poignée « palm grip » vous offre une excellente préhension. • Les commandes placées sous vos doigts sont disponibles à tout instant. • La manivelle est débrayée au repos, vous pouvez donc toujours la mettre dans la position idéale pour effectuer votre manœuvre. === Trois modes de fonctionnement === La manivelle de winch électrique Ewincher vous offre 3 modes de fonctionnement disponible à tout instant • Mode assisté pour wincher sans effort : Vous verrouillez la manivelle sur le winch, choisissez la position idéale, vous activez et ajustez la vitesse de rotation par simple pression sur la gâchette. Vous n’avez qu’à la retenir Ewincher travaille pour vous, en vitesse 1 comme en vitesse 2 du winch. Le changement de vitesse, se fait de façon intuitive en pivotant la manivelle de l’autre côté du winch, vous gardez alors la position de manœuvre la plus confortable. Mais vous pouvez aussi, à tout moment, inverser le sens de rotation par simple impulsion sur le bouton du pommeau. Tellement simple que vous pourrez parfaitement embraquer tout en barrant avec Ewincher. • Mode manuel mieux qu’avec une manivelle standard Pour affiner un réglage, avec Ewincher, c’est encore plus facile qu’avec une manivelle de winch standard. Maintenez alors le bouton sous le pommeau appuyé pour verrouiller la manivelle, vous pouvez l’utiliser en rotation complète comme votre manivelle standard, et encore mieux, quand l’effort devient très important vous pouvez aussi l’utiliser comme une clef à cliquet. Même la manœuvre manuelle devient plus facile avec Ewincher. • Mode combiné, pour une embraque ultra rapide. Enfin le mode combiné, idéal pour une manœuvre rapide. Totalement intuitif, vous appuyez sur la gâchette pour activer la rotation électrique et en même temps vous tournez la manivelle. Vous ajoutez alors les deux vitesses de rotation pour une rapidité de manœuvre tout à fait exceptionnelle. === Toutes les manœuvres deviennent faciles === Avec Ewincher et ses 3 modes de fonctionnement toutes les manœuvres du voilier deviennent faciles, rapides, et restent très précises. - Hisser la Grand-voile - Virer de bord - Border ou enrouler votre génois - Prendre un ris - Embraquer votre écoute de spi ou de code 0 - Monter un équipier au mât Ewincher est très puissante, on monte ici un équipier de 80 kilos. En vitesse 1 du winch, on est seulement à 45 % du couple maximum. === La batterie et son autonomie === Ewincher est équipée d’une batterie au Lithium qui se recharge en 12 ou en 220 V, 1h30 suffit pour une charge complète. Vous disposez d’une autonomie supérieure à une journée de navigation. Par exemple : - sur un voilier de 40 pieds par 18 nœuds de vent, vous pouvez hisser 3 fois la grand-voile et faire 40 virement de bord. === Un objet technologique connecté === Ewincher, c’est également un objet connecté unique qui vous permet de suivre en temps réel l’utilisation de votre manivelle de winch électrique sur votre smartphone. Vous pouvez également régler un limiteur de couple pour adapter la puissance de la manivelle à son utilisateur ou éviter des casses de matériels sur le voilier. If you are a solo sailor, a racer, a cruiser or even a dinghy sailor...  you  should know who Sir Francis Chichester is. Basically, he is the guy that proved to the world in the 60's that you could sail solo around the world without stops. He did stop, just once and only because he wanted to, but very soon afterwards the Sunday Times in the UK created the Golden Globe; the first ever Solo, Non-stop Around the World yacht race in 1968 and the rest is history. BUT, this was not the first of Francis Chichester's adventures, nor his last and in this book, The Romantic Challenge, we discover Francis just a few years on from his successful circumnavigation, looking for something else in sailing that will whet his whistle in the same way the circumnav did.   What he choose to do was to challenge the concept of sailing 200Nm per a day, a big feat for even modern computer-designed cruiser. At the time in the early 70's it was a far away goal to most sailors except those who remembered the Clipper ships . As was his style, he chose to add greatly to the difficulty of the undertaking, by laying forth a goal of completing this high daily mileage on not one or two days, but for five! He drew a 4000Nm line across the Atlantic and challenged himself to complete 1000Nm in five consecutive days. Meaning every single one of them would be required to be over 200NM.  It was a quantum leap in the psychology of performance around sailing and we are lucky that Sir Francis's style of writing allows the reader to get under the skin of the endeavor and really see inside the mind of a master mariner at work as he wrestles with the task.
