What a stressful time to get everything in order - in the end it played out very well. Thanks to the RAK Coast Guard, RAK ports, Customs and AEOLOS Yachts, we are now finally in RAK and get everything prepared to lift our beautiful Layla Del Mare out of the water. We are the FIRST privat boat that moored in the RAK Ports. We. are looking forward to becoming a role model for maaaany more boats - lets grow this community of sustainable boatbuilding! Now the real work begins...

Hi everyone, its great to have you back as you join us sailing around Britain. This week we sail from Amble to Eyemouth, but not before exploring Amble harbour village and Warkwarth Castle. The castle is spectacular with many rooms and levels to explore. In our opinion it is a must to visit if you are in the area. The most wonderful seafood is available in Amble too, with lots of lovely tea rooms. There are also some quirky shops in Amble harbour village that warrant investigation. We are so glad we did not miss this stop on our around Britain sailing trip, as we thoroughly enjoyed exploring this place, before setting sail once more for Scotland.
