Slacktime ist, wenn die Tiden bedingte Strömung in der Zufahrt zum Atoll bei Flut oder Ebbe kippt, also nahe 0 ist. Wir kommen von Ua-Pou in den Marquesas und kommen nach einer über 3-tägigen Anreise, genauer gesagt nach 77 Stunden, Punkt 11:00 Uhr vor der Passage an – Zufall. Per VHF hatten wir eine Yacht angerufen, die bereits um 09:00 das Atoll verließ und eine weitere gegen 10:00 Uhr. Die erste meldet incoming water 3 kn die zweite incoming water 2 kn. Wir erwarten daher für MariaNoa kaum noch Strömung in Fahrtrichtung in Raroia. Die in Tiefe und Breite sowieso komfortable Zufahrt gelingt daher ganz entspannt. Für die Fahrt zur Anchorage im Norden haben wir auf dem Tablet in Open CPN eine Trackline eines anderen Schiffes bekommen. Das hilft ungemein durch das Labyrinth aus Korallenblöcken, die bis knapp unter die Wasseroberfläche reichen. Eyeball-Navigation ist natürlich dennoch oberstes Gebot. Es ist Mittag, die Sonne steht hoch und die Sicht ist super. Nach 1 ½ Stunden fällt der Anker vor einer paradiesischen Kulisse aus Palmen bestandenen Motus, den wie auf einer Perlenkette aufgereihten Inseln der Riffkante. Habt Ihr konkrete Fragen?
