We never would have guessed what was in the anchor locker of a 33 Southport we were fishing from, until the captain hauled the anchor. Thanks to a Raymarine 200 infra-red video camera, he could watch the windlass reeling up his anchor line. And, as it turned out, that was quite advantageous. Senior Editor Lenny Rudow went to Florida to take a test run with the new iDock outboard engine joystick docking system, just introduced by Evinrude. Designed to go with the new G2 outboards iDock is intended to take the stress out of docking and make it easy. And while we've seen other outboard docking systems, the shocker here is price; iDock costs about a third of some competing systems.
