Sehr eindrucksvoll demonstrieren uns die Mädchen und Dozenten Teile ihrer Schulung. Unglaublich mit was für einer Energie und Elan alle dabei sind. Ein starkes Selbstbewusstsein hilft den Mädchen, mehr für ihre Ziele auf ein selbstbestimmtes Leben und bessere Bildungsmöglichkeiten einzustehen. Dafür haben wir uns einen Katamaran gekauft, mit dem wir Anfang März 2021 von der französischen Atlantikküste auf die Barfußroute gestartet sind. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März 2021geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. Nach 41 Jahren hatte der TÜV unseren geliebten Eriba PAN stillgelegt. Da war guter Rat teuer. Was machen wir nun? In den Garten stellen? Verschenken? Nein, er wurde repariert und schweren Herzens verkauft. Einen guten Gebrauchten zu finden war dann aber gar nicht so leicht. Endlich klappte auch das. Es musste noch etwas gebastelt werden und dann ging es endlich auf die Straße. Testurlaub nach Dänemark -nach Vejers Strand. Mit einem ERIBA-Touring Triton 430 GT. Den Campingplatz hatten wir schon mit dem alten PAN besucht und wussten, was uns erwartet. Wir können ihn nur empfehlen. Überrascht waren wir trotzdem. So viel Platz für so ein kleines Wägelchen! Der Film entstand praktisch so nebenbei, weil ich so gerne Filme.

DIAMOND LADY underwent a major refit in 2019/2020 with new Pipewelders hardtop, Eisenglass enclosure, new interior, new electronics, A/V equipment, non-skid decks, complete service of main engines & running gear, etc. In May 2022, new Flow Marine chiller installed, new air handlers in salon, A/C water pumps, new cooling pump for ZF transmissions and all new fuel and oil filters for mains and gens. In Dec. 2021 she received new bottom job, reconditioned props& prop speed along with new batteries and battery charger. Dafür haben wir uns einen Katamaran gekauft, mit dem wir Anfang März 2021 von der französischen Atlantikküste auf die Barfußroute gestartet sind. Seit vielen Jahren war eine Weltumsegelung mein (Hannes) großer Traum, den ich berufsbedingt zum Renteneintrittsalter verwirklichen wollte. Manchmal kommt das Leben aber anders als man plant. Im Frühjahr 2020 erhielt ich die Diagnose Morbus Parkinson. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März 2021geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich.
