The interior spaces of the Grand Trawler 62 are spacious and well appointed. The galley can be completely enclosed. The VIP guest cabin in the bow has a considerable amount of headroom, so that you feel like you are in a hotel suite. Strikingly spacious inside, with volumes similar to much bigger yachts, and ingeniously designed, these large passagemakers also have enough space to comfortably house a crew. A satin wax finished wood, leather and elegant textiles make for a stylish interior and exterior, carefully designed by the experts at Nauta Design. The midship owner suite, makes clever use of the maximum beam, so that you really feel like you are staying in a hotel suite More info: bit.ly/3xeDwj8 ________ Surprenant par ses incroyables volumes intérieurs, équivalents à ceux rencontrés à bord d’unités de tailles supérieures, et ingénieusement agencés, le Grand Trawler 62 permet aussi d’accueillir un équipage dans des conditions favorables. Full test in Multihulls World #182: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/catamaran/c-cat-48-a-sporty-but-very-habitable-catamaran Of course we know about the C-Cat 37, and now the 62 in the planning stage... but C-Catamarans are working on offering other models, such as the 56, whose molds are currently in production - we'll be talking about that very soon - and especially the 48, whose production has just started. This offshore catamaran is as comfortable as it is fast and fun to sail. The announced light displacement, just under 10 tons, promises some beautiful sailing indeed! The design of the coachroof is as simple as it is successful - it integrates a forward hatch just behind the mast. The hulls are narrow, with straight bows, and the boat is equipped with daggerboards. Full Test in Multihulls World N°183: https://www.multihulls-world.com/essais/catamaran/dufour-48-the-first-catamaran-by-umberto-felci-on-course-for-la-dolce-vita The launch in 2018 of this Dufour catamaran intended for charter was understandably thwarted by the takeover of the yard by Fountaine Pajot... One might have thought that this 48 was going to be consigned to history. But no - Dufour Yachts and the Croatian charter company Under the Heavens signed a sale agreement this summer for JJL Catamarans. Full test to discover in Multihulls World #184: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/motor/c-cat-40-power-fish-balanced-sensible-livable-and-ready-for-fishing This powercat, that we discovered at the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival, has been directly derived from the C-Cat 38 Powercat. With twin 100 HP motors and a laden displacement of 20,500 lbs (9.3 tonnes), the C-Cat 40 Power Fish is capable of reaching 15 knots, compared to 11 for the 40 MY. At cruising speed, consumption can be kept to less than one liter (just over a quart) per mile. The interior is complete even though the nacelle is somewhat cramped - the cockpit can be added to the space, however, since it can be completely closed in. The flybridge is raised up on an aluminum structure so that deep-sea fishing enthusiasts can scan the water in with the best conditions. And at the back of the cockpit, there are rod holders of course! Our best of all worlds kayak hull that is designed and and proven in all conditions all around the world! The Outback has a long and proud history but has been reimagined and redesigned many times to keep it's edge as the leader. Follow along as Morgan Promnitz covers all the amazing features, explains some of the history and compares the outback to some of its competition. Each year Hobie has always looked to pack the Outback with all the best features while keeping the hull weight and size manageable. Powered by the award winning MirageDrive 180 with Kick-up Turbo length fins. Equally as powerful forward and in reverse! The Kick-Up fins work just like before while under power but in the event you hit an obstacle underwater the fins fold back and out of the way, once you pedal they drive back forward and into position again. The Turbo length fins are our longest and largest fins and power the Outback along with incredible efficiency. While you pedal you're supported by the Vantage CTW seatback, this is an amazing seat loaded with adjustments and features but the "W" stands for the extra width that is unique to the Outback and offers a bit wider seat bottom for maximizing comfort and fitting all users. The entire height of the seatback is adjustable on both the front edge and back edge with a number of variation so anyone can find the best angle and posture while enjoying the water. We included a lumbar adjustment the utilizes a BOA ratchet. The seating surfaces are built using a 3D mesh that is very supportive but also breathable to keep you cool and dry. Gear storage is maximized in the Outback with large hatches, gear cutouts on the sides of the cockpit and also the sides of the cargo area. Complete with H-Rail mounting surfaces, Gear tracks, Gear pockets, cutout of tools, numerous attachment points and bungees galore to handle all sorts of rigging configurations. The rudder that steers the hull is tucked under the back for safety, can be controlled from either of the dual steering handles so no matter what arm you prefer to use to cast you'll have the other to control direction. Hobie Guardian is the name for our Retractable Transducer mounting area on the bottom side of the hull. Guardian was designed to be the most ideal way to mount a side imaging sonar or fish finder, from a control in the cockpit you can retract the transducer up safety into the hull while beaching but then drop it back below the hull so it can scan to the sides. The rudder kicks up and folds back down into place automatically. Multiple moulded in rod holders, tackle storage, grab handles, cup holders and multiple through-hull scuppers as drain points that double as mounts for our plug-in beach carts. The Outback also comes with a loading device that clips onto the rear loading handle and makes solo loading of the hull onto your car top so much easier! Full test in Multihulls World Special Issue Power HS17. https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/motor/vision-f-80-what-if-luxury-became-more-justifiable Presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Vision F 80 is a multiyacht built in aluminum. Narrower and lighter than most of its competitors, it manages to significantly limit its fuel consumption. Turkey's boatbuilding industry has a long history and can boast some significant expertise - not dissimilar to Polish shipbuilding know-how... so it's not surprising that a direct competitor of Sunreef, the undisputed leader in semi-custom luxury catamarans, is presenting a multiyacht recently built in Istanbul. But unlike Sunreefs, which are built in composite, the Vision F80 is therefore aluminum. On the foredeck, a crane can be used to launch the RIB, freeing up the aft platform. During our very first visit aboard, in Cannes, we were impressed by the volume offered by the nacelle and the cabins, but also by the level of finish - the teak deck, the floor and the endless sofas, for example, command respect... … TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Vision F Yachting Material: aluminum Length: 78”1’ (23.80 m) Waterline length: 77’11” (23.75 m) Beam: 31’4” (9.56 m) Draft: 2’7” (0.80 m) Light displacement: 48.50 t Laden displacement: 60 t Motors: 2 x Volvo Penta IPS800 or 1200 Max speed: 23 knots Fuel: 2,020 US gal (7,650 l) Water: 1,003 US gal (3,800 l) Price: by quotation Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests!

Full test in Multihulls World #181: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/motor/pinball-a-catamaran-equipped-with-very-innovative-propulsion A compact catamaran (only 9 m) equipped with hybrid diesel electric propulsion, this is how the Pinball is presented, previewed at the Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2021. The designers of this platform, developed in the region of the Arcachon basin in southwestern France, chose to use a catamaran configuration so as to offer a deck area 45% larger than that of a monohull. However, the beam is in line with that of a “modern” monohull – 9’8” (2.95 m) in width with a hull length of 27’4” (8.33 m). The aim is of course to use the same size marina slip. The manufacturer has developed an original hybrid drivetrain: one central diesel engine of 265 HP and two electric motors of 8 kW each, with ducted propellers. At 4 knots, the range in electric mode is two hours. In the internal combustion mode, it is possible to set the electric motors going, but this time using alternator power. The deck plan, which includes a tilting platform, has been optimized for ease of use, comfort and storage. The sundeck folds up to form a mini-cabin for two, VW Combi style. We went live aboard a small cruising boat in Annapolis during the Annapolis Sailboat Show with Nica and Jeremy Waters, cruisers who went all-in on their beloved 28' Bristol Channel Cutter, Calypso. Over the last few years they've made a great many updates and improvements to her, structurally and systems-wise, and now they're ready to head out after this shakedown cruise to button up the rest of the work while voyaging. It's a plan that's been in the works for a while, and now the dream is being realized! Full test to discover in Multihulls World Power Special Issue HS17: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/motor/silent-60-an-electric-catamaran-in-series-production This new electric catamaran from Silent Yachts was presented in World Premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021. We were able to test it in Palma de Mallorca with powerful 2 x 250 kW engines - the maximum speed reached is close to 13 knots. This new model is taking over the torch from the 64, the first electric catamaran to have crossed the Atlantic. The recently launched hull #1 was able to validate its specifications, i.e. sailing without burning any fuel, thereby not emitting any pollutants, at up to 4/5 knots. The Silent 60, like all the other models from the brand, is of course powered by twin electric motors. The manufacturer offers three formulas - 2 x 30 kW, 2 x 250 kW, and 2 x 220 HP coupled with two small 14 kW electric motors. Extended forward at the front of the coachroof by a cap, and aft by a large bimini, the superstructures are designed to support a maximum surface area of solar panels (450 sq ft/42 m², compared with 325/30 for the Silent 55). A version known as the 62-3 Deck sees the flybridge transformed into a real upper deck. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Silent Yachts Overall length: 59’ (17.99 m) Beam: 29’6” (8.99 m) Draft: 3’1” (0.93 m) Light displacement: 63,950 lbs (29 t) Fuel: 158/422 US gal (600/1,600 l) Solar panels: 14 kWp Electric motors: 2 x 50 kW/2 x 200 kW/2 x 340 kW Cruising speed: 6-8 knots/12-15 knots Max speed: 13-20 knots Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! ► Complete test to be discovered in Multihulls World #181: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/trimaran/libertist-703-small-trimaran-big-personality ► First sailings for the Libertist 703 in La Rochelle (France) - this folding trimaran is the little brother of the Libertist 853. The Libertist 703, the little sister to the 853, is finally sailing despite delays due to COVID 19; her small size prompted the yard to develop a quick-folding system to facilitate road transport. In addition to the centerboard and the two rudders, each float is equipped with a semi-foiling system. The aim is therefore not to fly, but to provide downwind lift - more power and the ability to carry more canvas. The marked chine of the central hull reconciles the finesse of the underwater hull and habitable volume – 5’ (1.50 m) headroom. ► TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Rega Yacht Length: 22’11” (6.99 m) Beam: 8’4”/19’6” (2.55/5.95 m) Light displacement: 1,875 lbs (850 kg) Draft: 15”/3’10” (0.38/1.16 m) Mainsail area: 290 sq ft (27 m²) Jib: 130 sq ft (12 m²) Asymmetric Spi: 270 sq ft (25 m²) Engine: 4 kW ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! She sails for the first time under a spinnaker off Canet-en-Roussillon. You can experience the full test of this compact cruising catamaran - 37 feet only - in Multihulls World #181! Presentation picture: (c) Ludovic Fruchaud - Imacis. ► What different about this new model slotted in opportunely between the 34 and the 44? The lines are still signed by Lasta Design, but with more pronounced chines than those of the 44, a helm station set aft, so as not to interfere with sail trimming - just in front - and a sunbathing area on the bimini - which can be used in port or at anchor. The builder has chosen quality - isophthalic and epoxy resins, water-repellent woodwork, A4 316 ISI stainless steel parts, Harken and Spinlock fittings, Elvstrøm sail wardrobe, ZSpars rig, Raymarine electronics, etc. The light displacement announced by the yard – under 17,500 lbs (8 t) - combined with nearly 1,020 sq ft (95 m²) of upwind sail area promises liveliness. There are also good water and fuel capacities, not to mention the 9.2 cu ft (260 l) refrigerator. Do Kate's new seasickness meds work? How does the dog adjust to sailing? How is the boat set up differently for bluewater ocean passagemaking? What is it like out there? #sailing #offshore #ocean #boatlife We are finally offshore, on a 2700 mile Journey from St. Maarten to Azores. We won't see land for at least two weeks. We will encounter storms, be becalmed, see whales and dolphins and more. We listen to the sounds of the ocean. Wind, waves, and the sound of the water moving against the hull bring a sense of asmr and calming at times. This is Day 1. The hardest portion of the journey is re-adjusting to the sea and leaving the safety of land in the Caribbean islands. If you enjoy pure offshore sailing, and what to learn what it is like to cross the Atlantic ocean for the first time, you find this series of videos enjoyable. Who are we? No babes in bikinis here. No fake boat fails and made up crashes. This is real sailing. We don't do makeup, we don't try to look sexy or be Instagram models. We are just making raw and real inspiring and relaxing sailing and travel videos. This is what it is like for normal hard working people to sell it all and live aboard a sailboat or tiny home and travel the world. We are Kate, Curtis, and Roxy the Sailing Dog aboard our 46 foot sailing vessel (s/v or s/y) Sweet Ruca. We sold our house, bought a boat, re-fit it ourselves, and started off to sail around the world, the hard way, via Cape Horn and the Cape of Good hope, on original trade wind routes of the tall ships. We are not beginning sailors, we have lots of experience in boats from sailing dinghies and small powerboats to large racing yachts. Kate is a school teacher taking an extended sabbatical, Curtis is a boat rocking entrepreneur that enjoys the path less traveled. Roxy the Sailing Dog is a shelter rescue dog who now enjoys beach life and the endless new smells of "head out the window" boat rides. Want to learn more? Want to know more about our boat? A thorough walkthrough of the Sunreef 50 at the Cannes Boat Show in 2021 - by author and multihull specialist Gregor Tarjan.
Enjoy this walkthrough! This voyaging yacht is over 18 meters long and designed for long-distance cruises. She has an excellent range, her spaces are elegant and practical in equal measure, and there is lots of room on board. Comfortable and seaworthy, with a cruising range of 900 nautical miles and a central raised helm station, she is ideal for slow cruises, favoring introspection in addition to getting away from it all or leisure activities. Learn more: https://www.beneteau.com/us/grand-trawler/grand-trawler-62 -- About BENETEAU -- The first BENETEAU boats sailed from the shipyards of Croix-de-Vie over 135 years ago. Since that time, the BENETEAU brand has been synonymous with quality and innovation to all those who have taken to the water – first by the fishermen who made their livelihood from the sea and then by the legions of recreational boaters around the globe. Over the years, our commitment to innovating and embracing ideas, no matter how unconventional, has been at the forefront of who we are in order to bring you the best boat possible. BENETEAU was one of the first boatbuilders many years ago to use computer-aided design (CAD) as well as lighter, stronger composite building materials. We’ve also been at the cutting edge of using greener materials and processes to do our part in protecting the incredible world which we explore. However, all this innovation doesn’t mean we’ve turned our back on tradition. One thing we’ve discovered in over a century of boatbuilding is that new-world innovations work best with old-school craftsmanship. This combination has resulted in some of the most iconic sailboats and powerboats in the world – supremely seaworthy yachts renowned for their sense of style, luxury, and comfort along with their creative use of space and new technologies. -- Philosophy -- We’re a lot like you. In this episode we dive into a Hunter 36 and explain what we want in a boat and what we do not want in a boat. We looked at a 1989 Morgan, 1993 Hunter and some other boats. Oh and we also catched a fish haha! Who are we? We are Dirk and Maraya. We just decided to sell our house, and actually everything we own. Our possessions felt like weight and we had a dream. Corona made us realise that if we want to do something big, we should do it now. As afraid as we are to start this adventure, we are going for it with confidence, as we are following our hearts. For the past 8 years Dirk has been dreaming of taking this step. Dirk has been saving money, doing courses, and preparing for this major step. Maraya shares the passion of the ocean and living more sustainable, and also shares this passion about discovering the world from the water! This isn't our usual episode, but we've been asked so many times from subscribers and now also patrons, so here it is... our teeny tiny floaty boaty! We love Pickle, we hope you do too! She may be small, but has everything we need and more importantly everything we can afford. It really is marvellous that we really can sail around the world with our family without bucket loads off money and a fancy super yacht! 😃 Back to normal next episode as we tackle the install of our new Lazy Jack bag and get our Genoa's UV band replaced. Thank you to our wonderful patrons, you are really helping to make all this possible! Don't forget to pop over to Patreon to watch all the extra footage. Hier unser erster Erfahrungsbericht. Winged sailing. The parasailor is a combination of spinnaker and gennaker. What makes the light headsail so special, however, is the wing that is blown through the sail. This also means that the large sail can be used not only in light winds. We have already set our new sail on the Dilly-Dally, a Moody 425, several times. Here is our first experience report.

Welcome aboard for PART 2 of our tour of our floating home - our Lucia 40 Fountaine Pajot Catamaran. We posted a video last year of the inside of our boat and we have finally got round to sharing the outside and how we planned the extra's we added ourselves or included in our Fountaine Pajot purchase. We go through how we planned to make Coco self sufficient as possible for off-grid living. Although she is a tiny home compared to homes on land, she is huge compared to our last boat and more than enough for the next chapter in our lives! Sooo welcome to our home!! If anyone is interested in looking at a Lucia 40, Isla 40 or any Fountaine Pajot, feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram and if you're nearby you can see ours or we can put you in touch with the guys that helped us! If you enjoyed the vid, we would love it if you subscribe and hit the notification bell 😊♥️ ♡ Welcome to our Sailing Vlog - Sailing Coco! After 7 years of renovating boats, we sailed our 33ft Colvic Countess Monohull around the Med. Last year we left London for good and bought a Lucia 40 Fountaine Pajot Catamaran! I was fortunate enough to attend the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival this in September. After missing the 2020 show due to the pandemic it was nice to get a sense of normalcy with the return of boat show season. I was super excited to check out and explore the Privilege Signature 580. She lived up to my expectations, and then some. For some more information check out the link below: https://bit.ly/PrivilegeMarineInfo If you have any questions, or would like to discuss a boat like this please shoot me an email, give me a call, or send me a text. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Annapolis Boat Show October 14 - 18. Wiley Sharp Wiley@CatamaranCentral.com 561 613 8985
