The marina takes on a different persona when the sun stays low and the cold winds start to blow. I went to check on “Moments in Time” during the winter solstice. The boats on the hard were whistling in the wind, the sounds of laughter and tinking of drinks from the pool area had long departed, droning of harbor traffic remained eerily silent, and the lapping of waves had become more pronounced. Kuala Lumpur’s very own China Town has everything you can wish for. For the price of a full shopping cart at Costco, you can fly here and find out for yourself! We loved the Indian restaurant, right next door to the most famous street food markets (Jalan Alor). Street art is everywhere, especially in tiny alleys. Free to tour and skillfully crafted. The second tallest building in the world is still under construction. It seems like building tall and taller is a theme here. Another day full of local color in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
