The marina takes on a different persona when the sun stays low and the cold winds start to blow. I went to check on “Moments in Time” during the winter solstice. The boats on the hard were whistling in the wind, the sounds of laughter and tinking of drinks from the pool area had long departed, droning of harbor traffic remained eerily silent, and the lapping of waves had become more pronounced. I watched the sun reached its zenith over Moments in Time as shared in the last frames of the video. It was cold so I did not linger long. Feel free to comment and let us know your thoughts. While in St Augustine, our generator starting overheating. We needed time to have it cool down to figure out what the issue was. As we were preparing to leave the next morning, we decided to wait to look at it until we made it to our next planned stop that was longer than an overnight. Once we arrived at our next anchorage, we and by we, I mean Andy took a look at the generator. Besides a broken impeller he found a serious issue with a burn that fused the wires together on the main generator switch for shore/gen power. Real life boat issues that you deal with on anchor...
