The marina takes on a different persona when the sun stays low and the cold winds start to blow. I went to check on “Moments in Time” during the winter solstice. The boats on the hard were whistling in the wind, the sounds of laughter and tinking of drinks from the pool area had long departed, droning of harbor traffic remained eerily silent, and the lapping of waves had become more pronounced. Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. Außerdem müssen wir noch lernen richtig zu segeln. Du kannst dich also schon auf die nächsten Videos freuen! Poco più di due giorni dalla partenza della Transpac, Maserati Multi 70 continua la sua corsa verso Honolulu sulla scia dei suoi concorrenti, Argo e PowerPlay. Navigando mure a destra, la performance del trimarano italiano è penalizzata dai danni subiti la scorsa notte: Giovanni Soldini spiega: "Senza il foil del timone sinistro è molto difficile controllare l'assetto longitudinale di Maserati Multi 70, che tende ad impennarsi per poi ricadere nell'acqua: a risentirne è ovviamente la velocità. Non vediamo l'ora di strambare!" Maserati Multi 70, agli aggiornamenti delle 3 UTC, navigava a 26 nodi di velocità, una cinquantina di miglia dietro PowerPlay, che procedeva a 28 nodi a 1253 miglia dal traguardo.
