Então começamos uma pesquisa para encontrar um distorcedor fosse mais forte que a corrente e a manilha, para não termos um ponto falho. Foi aí que encontramos o S2 da Mantus, perfeito para o nosso sistema. A força de trabalho dele é de 2 toneladas, ou seja: muito mais forte que a nossa corrente. O S2 fica entre a corrente e a âncora, permitindo que ela gire livremente e evitando torções que podem enfraquecer o conjunto. Ele vem desmontado e você mesmo monta na hora da instalação, seguindo os passos indicados. It’s not something you always need, but in places where we stay for longer periods, it makes a big difference. So we started researching to find a swivel that was stronger than our chain and shackle, so we wouldn’t have a weak point in the system. That’s when we found the Mantus S2, perfect for our setup. Its working load is 2 tons, which means it’s much stronger than our chain. The S2 sits between the chain and the anchor, allowing the anchor to rotate freely and preventing twists that can weaken the system. It comes disassembled, and you put it together yourself during installation by following the provided steps. The VO70 completed the iconic offshore course in an elapsed time of 2 days, 17 hours, and 21 minutes, crossing the finish line off Cherbourg at 05:11 BST on 29 July 2025. With a TCC of 1.617, Tschüss 2 corrected out to a final time of 4 days, 9 hours, and 40 minutes — edging ahead of high-calibre rivals including Roy Disney’s Pyewacket 70 and the 30m Leopard 3, skippered by Chris Sherlock. The win caps off an outstanding season for the former Groupama 4 VO70, originally skippered by Franck Cammas in the Volvo Ocean Race.
