Foi aí que encontramos o S2 da Mantus, perfeito para o nosso sistema. A força de trabalho dele é de 2 toneladas, ou seja: muito mais forte que a nossa corrente. O S2 fica entre a corrente e a âncora, permitindo que ela gire livremente e evitando torções que podem enfraquecer o conjunto. Ele vem desmontado e você mesmo monta na hora da instalação, seguindo os passos indicados. [EN] After spending a long time anchored in Culatra, we realized that a swivel was necessary. It’s not something you always need, but in places where we stay for longer periods, it makes a big difference. So we started researching to find a swivel that was stronger than our chain and shackle, so we wouldn’t have a weak point in the system. That’s when we found the Mantus S2, perfect for our setup. Its working load is 2 tons, which means it’s much stronger than our chain. The S2 sits between the chain and the anchor, allowing the anchor to rotate freely and preventing twists that can weaken the system. It comes disassembled, and you put it together yourself during installation by following the provided steps. having problems getting higher revs on this outboard it makes a jerky move and - any advice - I changed the fuel pump - and the fuel filter - could this be the carburetor ?

This Wharram Tiki is an extremely reluctant sale by its Canadian owners. They only purchased the boat just before lock down and planned a few years sailing in the Mediterranean. They only stayed on board and had a brief play with the boat before returning to Canada intending to return shortly, but unfortunately life's events have prevented them from getting to the boat, so the tough decision has been to sell. This one is a really professional build and one of the best Tiki's I have ever seen. Where ever you wander on the planet you will undoubtably see a Wharram sitting in the marina or at anchor. These sea worthy tried and tested catamarans have a massive following like the VW Camper Cult!
