Just another day on the Reef! While conducting weekly Eye on the Reef surveys, marine biologists Dr Glen and Fern had some unexpected company as a pod of Spinner Dolphins cruised on by at Quicksilver’s Agincourt Reef pontoon! You never know what wonders you’ll encounter out here. Spinner dolphins are the most common species encountered on the Reef and are named after the aerial tricks they perform when leaping out of the water. These small dolphins will even ride the pressure wave off the bow of slow moving vessels.
I'd like to say thank you to those who have come along for this wild ride, we're a small channel and appreciate the support. We (Kayleigh & James) recently spent 6 days at The Boat Works and we have almost got the boat ready to move aboard and set sail in April.
