Just another day on the Reef! While conducting weekly Eye on the Reef surveys, marine biologists Dr Glen and Fern had some unexpected company as a pod of Spinner Dolphins cruised on by at Quicksilver’s Agincourt Reef pontoon! You never know what wonders you’ll encounter out here. Spinner dolphins are the most common species encountered on the Reef and are named after the aerial tricks they perform when leaping out of the water. These small dolphins will even ride the pressure wave off the bow of slow moving vessels.
📸⛵💥 “When your drone wants to join the crew…” As the catamaran makes a sharp turn, the drone swoops in for the perfect shot — THUNK! — straight into the sail and down into the net! The sailor just sighs, “Not again…” 8 seconds of flying fail and sailor frustration. #DroneFail #SailAndCrash #NotAgain #CatamaranChaos #SailingBloopers #FlyingTooClose #TechTroublesAtSea #OceanOops #DroneDown #SeaLaughs
