Just another day on the Reef! While conducting weekly Eye on the Reef surveys, marine biologists Dr Glen and Fern had some unexpected company as a pod of Spinner Dolphins cruised on by at Quicksilver’s Agincourt Reef pontoon! You never know what wonders you’ll encounter out here. Spinner dolphins are the most common species encountered on the Reef and are named after the aerial tricks they perform when leaping out of the water. These small dolphins will even ride the pressure wave off the bow of slow moving vessels.
The 128 ft Truly Classic Vijonara crosses the finish line the last race of the st Barth Bucket 2nd in her Class. Congrats! A Port Starboard protest with Gelliceaux was not accepted because the red flag was not shown, otherwise Vijonara would have won the overall Bucket! credits: michaelkurtzphoto
