Hi!đđ» We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacificđđ»). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. Getting Ready To Install Lithium Batteries On Our Sailboat . Our lithium batteries have arrived! We are stoked to connect with @cruisingmaya, and begin converting from DC to Lithium batteries. We hired Mack, who is an ABYC technician with an electrical engineering background to help with installing our lithium batteries. WOW! What a task. We are new sailors and we chose lithium batteries, as they pack a lot of amp hours into a small space, charge quickly and last for a long time.
