Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years (or as long as sustainable) dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our Cabo Rico 34, Sea Pearl. - Cheers!🍻 Paige & Ed Follow along on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/sailing.seapearl Song Credit: 00:01 Cody Francis - Weather Any Storm https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/RZI7R4iUkt/
This video is part of our boat work and maintenance series... not so much an episode about our travels and boat life. The bimini top on our catamaran is really starting to fall apart. This little video clip is a prelude to changes to come! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We can't produce quality inspirational content indefinitely without the support of our fans. In our town we have a small swim lake for the kids. Each year the geese nest on an island and the population can get to 50. They stay all year and if the number is more then 20 they make the beach unusable. So after talking with the Ohio Department of natural resources we put together a program to encourage the geese not to nest on the island. The program is very simple. Visit the island with a dog for 2 hours every day during nesting season for 2 weeks at dusk. The Geese will then become convinced the Island is not a good place to nest and will move away. It is very important that you do not hurt the geese in any way and that you follow the law in your area. I also take her to the island a few time during the summer just to check it out. Here is one of our trips during the summer.
