Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years (or as long as sustainable) dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our Cabo Rico 34, Sea Pearl. - Cheers!🍻 Paige & Ed Follow along on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/sailing.seapearl Song Credit: 00:01 Cody Francis - Weather Any Storm https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/RZI7R4iUkt/
A favorite stop during our Sea of Cortez/Midriff Islands dive trips is Bahia de Los Angeles where we snorkel with whale sharks. These gentle giants come into this bay to feed. We use the local boats to take us into the bay. The crew looks for the whale sharks and then 4 people can get into the water with them. Sometimes they swim by quickly (there is absolutely no way to keep up with them ) and sometimes they are just happy to eat. We can even see multiple whale sharks at one time! Remember the three rules of snorkeling with whale sharks: 1) Don't touch the whale shark, 2) Don't touch the whale shark, and 3) Don't touch the whale shark. He he he!
What a treat for our passengers on board Poseidon this afternoon, who had a juvenile (3-4 years) Humpback whale come and join the fun at Helms Deep! The crew kept the passengers who were already in the water in a tight group as the extremely curious Humpback made around 20 passes in a 20 minute period. What an absolute treat for our passengers! We bet they've had a 'whaley' amazing day! 🐋🐋🐋 Thanks to Dan Hill for the 📹 #PoseidonCruises #Australia #ThisisQueensland #ExploreTNQ #CitizensGBR #GreatBarrierReef
