Hi!👋đŸģ We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌đŸģ). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years (or as long as sustainable) dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our Cabo Rico 34, Sea Pearl. - Cheers!đŸģ Paige & Ed Follow along on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/sailing.seapearl Song Credit: 00:01 Cody Francis - Weather Any Storm https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/RZI7R4iUkt/

#nmea0183 #bootstechnik #marineelektrik #multimeter #ais #plotter #segeltipps #skipper #fehlersuche

Sailboat Repairs; U-Bolts Installed. As we near completion for our major sailboat repairs-our excitement mounts. These are the U-Bolts that we had specially machined, here in Anacortes to hold our mast. They extend through the chainplates to the interior of our Sceptre 41. We plan to be sailing in about two weeks towards B.C., where we will be spending 2-3 months doing our 'shakedown cruise', before heading south. For another video about our repairs, check out this one: https://youtube.com/shorts/PgbZOAb-pTE?si=Yi5U87uGQNptFqSD If you dig our journey as a new sailing couple, learning to sail, buying a Sceptre 41, getting ready to sail and launching, we would love you to follow along: Join us on our website at: https://gypseaexplorer.com/ Or on our Instagram Channel: https://www.instagram.com/writerjacks/

I'm standing aboard the Carver 34. It's a brand new boat from the Wisconsin manufacturer. Two cabins, two private cabins, two gasoline inboards. Great boat for a family trading up from an express cruiser, so let's take a look at it right now. http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2013/03/carver-34-quick-look-at-an-affordable-family-cruising-boat/ For more short boat videos from the Miami Boat Show, visit www.boats.com.
