Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. The 'car' is something the genoa sail sheet passes through and we can adjust it's position along the deck to alter the angle that the sheet pulls down of the genoa. You will see how we need to set the sheet lead car for the headsail to the forward end of the track to allow the sail to adopt a fuller shape. We set it like this when the wind is coming from behind the boat.
