In this episode, I cut the rest of the shape of the Cutwater into the Stem, using a chainsaw. Then I plane it smooth, and shape the transition to the square stem-head with a grinder. I also take a trip to Bellingham, where I look at the Oak Deck Beams on a beautiful old schooner.
