With My Dad When He Died

My father’s story comes to an end. After his move to the VA center, I visited him on Father’s Day — not knowing it would be the last time we would spend that day together. Not long afterward, I sat with my father through his final hours and stayed with him until he died. This video is a collection of those final moments: his move to the VA, my last visit with him, the hours I spent at his bedside, and highlights from his funeral, including the military honors he received for his service to our country in the Korean War. My father is gone. That chapter is over. Life has laid a foundation these past 4 years and has now released me into the freedom to amplify my Starting Over journey.
