Why we're taking a break from sailing... - Episode 61

As beginner sailors in our first year of cruising we've tried our best to avoid marina's for the sake of savings. This comes with sacrifice - many a night of lost sleep in roley anchorages; taking the extra time to do trips back in forth in the tender with water, fuel and provisions and doing boat work and maintenance on anchor. This week however, we're treating ourselves to the luxury of a marina! We're heading back down south for a heartwarming reunion with our families and to attend our best friends wedding as bridesmaid and groomsman. We can't express our gratitude enough to Mike Harris from Magnetic Island Marina who found a safe berth for our floating home as we leave her for the first time. This trip would not have been possible had it not been for the peace of mind that Innerbloom would be cared for - so many, MANY thanks to Mike!
