White sand, blue water, and a shark petting zoo! Compass Cay Exumas - Episode 21 #catamaransailing

We waited months to cruise to the Bahamas, and we finally got there! We broke all the rules and didn't stop except for a couple of overnight anchorages until we got to the middle Exumas where we caught up with some friends who would remain our buddy boat and adventure partners for the next seven weeks. We started this adventure in Pipe and Compass Cays, otherwise known as The Mice. Here we were introduced to a whole new color palette, Exuma blues. The water is the bluest we've ever seen, and the sand is unbelievably soft and white. We enjoyed the beach and the sand bars, played in Rachel's bubble bath, and petted an entire school of sharks.
