Where did all the water go!!?? I walk in the depths of the lake

Lake Bala has an essential role, keeping local homes from flooding in rainy times, so they often empty the lake when they know bad weather is coming. This allows the lake to then absorp the rain so it doesn't break the river's banks both up and down stream. Thats all well and good but is this good for sailing!! Add to this super windy conditions blowing almost 20 mph with 30+ gusts and it doesn;t look good for sailing today.
