Amazing Whale Shark footage taken onboard the dive liveaboard Calico Jack in Cenderawasih Bay ,West Papua. On this particular day we had up to 7 whale sharks circling a local fishing Bagan (floating fishing platform). The whale sharks can be seen all year round in the area and are attracted by the fishing of 'ikan puri' small fish similar to a sardines, of which they are greedy.
