We Visited One of the TRASHIEST Beaches on Earth | Lombok, Indonesia

We have traveled halfway around the world to some of the most remote places on the planet. But there has always been one constant in our travels - TRASH. Trash on remote beaches, trash on isolated reefs, trash in the open ocean. It is a monumental problem. But until we experienced it firsthand, we didn't actually how pervasive the problem really is. We have sailed through the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Countries that heartbreakingly rank among the top five for ocean plastic pollution. Contributing to a staggering 500 billion tons of plastic into our oceans each year. These are poor developing countries that don't have the infrastructure to deal with the convenient disposable products produced for their consumption. Today we are meeting up with an organization in Lombok, Indonesia that is actively trying to clean up our oceans.
