This week we take our new dinghy on an 80-mile round-trip adventure across the Bahamas to refuel and explore some of the most remote spearfishing grounds we've ever dived. With glass-calm conditions, massive reef walls, giant coral heads, and plenty of sharks, we search for elusive black grouper, chase birds for tuna, and end up with an incredible mixed bag including permit, yellow jack, and Cero mackerel. After an epic day of freediving, we head back to the sailboat for an amazing Bahamas catch and cook, making fresh sushi, carpaccio, and fried sushi rolls with fish caught just hours earlier.
