We Started Sanding the Hull… It Got WORSE! 😳|S1E4

🦜 Dear diary… welcome back! In this episode, my humans decide it’s finally time to tackle my hull… and honestly, I’ve never looked worse! 😩 What started as “just a bit of sanding” turned into rust, bare metal, barnacles, old paint, epoxy, wire brushes and A LOT of Graham suffering. Watch as they slowly strip me back, uncover my many colourful layers from over the years, repair the rust and finally start getting me ready for a whole new look. At one point Graham even looked like a blue Smurf. I found it hilarious. 😂 And yes… with hindsight, perhaps sandblasting me back to bare metal from the start would have been the quicker option. But hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Most importantly, we're still trying to uncover my history and find my original owners.
