So when my sister wanted to plan a trip to Thailand, we were absolutely thrilled to have a good excuse to leave the boatyard and explore Phuket. Phuket is a vibrant city with lots to see and our highlights on this trip had to be the Night Market in Old Town Phuket and a visit to the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. The street food at the night market was delicious and one of the major highlights of Thailand for us. An elephant experience is also a popular tourist attraction, and the sanctuary allowed us to get up close and personal with these amazing creatures in a fun and humane way. After exploring the city, it was time to head back to the boat yard, launch Starry Horizons and do a quick shake down sail to Phi Phi Island. Thanks for watching!
