Today marks the beginning of a new season...a new group of wanderlusts with the desire to see the world, while giving back to the communities they visit. But of course, this means starting from ground zero with a new group of people who have never sailed a day in their lives. It is always a bit daunting - the responsibility that comes with bringing three strangers on the boat for two months. Knowing that ultimately their safety and well-being are in our hands, and will be determined by how well we teach them. But most importantly, this marks the beginning of a new opportunity. An opportunity to help more communities, and improve the way that we help. These people are often so generous and special, however, they often times lack basic necessities - proper clothing, health care, medicine, etc. We want to have the most profound impact possible.
