WE GOT A NEW SAIL!!!!! đ¤¸đģââī¸đ¤¸đģââī¸đ¤¸đģââī¸đ¤¸đģââī¸
Weâve been talking about getting a new main sail for MONTHS but our preconceived ideas about the expense and the process kept stopping us from doing it. When we finally reached the point that A) it was getting pretty dangerous ie: Adam going out on the deck in heavy waves to pull the sail out with his bare hands and B) we had to literally climb up the mast for 2 hours and yank it out with a pair of pliersâĻ We knew it was time!!! This new sail is looking so crisp and clean and I swear we have an extra knot of speed now hehe đ The process was actually way more straightforward than we thought đđŊ It took about five weeks to get after we put the order in, and even had someone come and measure it for us. It cost just under US$3000 which is a bit cheaper than we expected.
