Alone in paradise, but trying to anchor in deep water, between acres of rocks, reefs and coral bommies is no joking matter. We weren't going to be beaten because this was the most impressive place we'd found yet in the deserted island group. Tired and fed up after an hour of re-anchoring, we dropped the pick in 21m of water, in the middle of a tropical island paradise and were the only boat there. Not another sailboat in sight, not even a fishing boat or a canoe, this was true tropical island paradise. Sailboat living at its finest! For the first time ever, Liz was lost for words at the beauty of these untouched natural surroundings. And while Jamie snorkeled from one healthy reef to the next coral garden, Liz ranged the area in our kayak. We found paradise, and this is why we live this liveaboard life.
