VIOLENT STORM HITS CORSICA 18 August 2022
Yachts destroyed and sunk or washed up on beaches during an unprecedented and supposedly Un forecast storm near the island of Corsica in France, the storm came in hard and fast from the South West and left yachts with little or no chance to leave the area. Leaving behind a trail of destruction, with many people injured and we believe some deaths ashore in what may well be a storm larger than the one we sat out in Port Mirabello Marina in 2018 which reached winds of 180 KMH and DESTROYED Rapallo marina just 20 km to the North of us.
