Transom extension and composite rudders

It's been an epic few weeks for the youngbarnacles team. We've finished our transom extension project, repaired damaged areas of the hull and blocked up the skin fittings that we no longer need (there is no point having more holes in a boat than absolutely necessary!) We've made new seals for the sail drives and removed our old rudders to get a look at the rudder stocks ready for our new rudder project. We have sanded and sanded the hull until it is as fair as we can get it before we apply antifoul. Most exciting of all, we have found an America's Cup rudder we can use to make moulds for new rudders for our catamaran.
