Their Yacht Ran AGROUND! And we explore Sidney Island - ep.48 (Sailing Family Circus)

This week we see two boats run aground while we explore Sidney Spit. I try to help refloat one of them and the kids spend a lot of time running around the island exploring the beach and old first nations sites. Jayne (Captain Mom) successfully pilots us through the very narrow Pender Canal without running aground and we witness one of the best sunsets the west coast has to offer. We're having a great time exploring and catching up with old friends and family while back in Vancouver. But I'm really starting to miss Family Circus and am looking forward to getting back to her in four weeks! The core of "Family Circus" is Chris (Dad / Captain), Sayo (Mom / Admiral), Aya (First Officer / Deckhand) and Miya (Baby / Stainless Polisher). After many years in business in Vancouver we were tired of life inside the box and wanted to make a change, we just weren't exactly sure what would be next. In July of 2016, when Sayo was six months pregnant, we decided (somewhat at the last minute) to fly to New Caledonia for one last holiday before the baby was born.
