Is Belitung the Seychelles of Indonesia? We sail from Borneo to Belitung and take some time to explore this Indonesian holiday destination. Dinghy sailing between beautiful beaches and boulders, climbing a 137 year old light house and witnessing Indonesian boat building. As this is the last island for us in Indonesia we share a little of the reality of boat life as we shop in the local market and share how we get drinking water in preparation for the voyage ahead. We are a British couple who set off from England in 2016 to fulfil our dream of sailing around the world on our 37ft sail boat, Florence. Along the way we share the live aboard lifestyle with the highs and lows of travelling around the world by boat.
