The Real Reason Behind My Golden Globe Race Journey

Why am I sailing solo around the world? And why is sharing this adventure on social media so important to me? There’s a lot more behind this journey than simply completing the Golden Globe Race. From the beginning, one of my biggest motivations has been to inspire other women and girls, especially younger generations, to believe they can follow their dreams, take on challenges and enter spaces where women are still underrepresented. I grew up surrounded by strong women who inspired me to become who I am today. I want to be that person for someone else, too. And that's where social media comes in. For me, sharing this adventure is just as important as sailing it. I want people to experience the journey with me, learn about sailing, see the challenges, the mistakes, the incredible moments and everything in between. Because inspiring others has always been part of the purpose. In this video, I explain why I chose this challenge, what I hope to achieve and why being able to share the experience means so much to me.
