I put my outboard motor arrangement to the test with getting me out of the narrow, winding channel to Jackson Creek. Then comes the next test, which is removing both the outboard motor and bracket in preparation for heading offshore. Fair southwesterly winds are forecast, so I push off for Maine on June 27.
