The Hardest Climb of My Life — Tour Aotearoa Ep. 5

I’ve been editing this episode from the comfort of home, with a hot cup of tea and access to a shower. Simple things that I'll never take for granted again! In this episode we take a detour. A very long and high detour - instead of cycling to the southern most point of New Zealand aka. "The Bluff" we headed along the Lake Dunstan trail, through the Nevis Valley and finally the "Around the Mountain" trail in reverse, towards Queenstown. WHY?! because we like pain and suffering. **We met Eric and Shanti whilst standing outside of a charity shop in Murchison - Eric shared a few of his bikepacking stories with us, as did we with him. Shortly after, we exchanged contact details and 6 weeks later we meet again in Wanaka. Together, we hiked, laughed, painted, drank beers, cooked, drank coffee, danced, sung, ALL BRILLIANT!!!! It's so very nice to edit these videos and look back on what we've accomplished and who we have met along the way - all whilst thinking of ways to invent a time machine. Enjoy! K & J
