The French Pass VS our Small Sailboat Ep. 10
We crossed the Cook strait & stayed in small bays around Marlborough Sounds for three nights. Now it was time for our next challenge, The French Pass! We waited out an afternoon of bad weather at a bay beside the French Pass entrance: Catherine Cove. This was where we met the yacht Nephalle, a 40ft 18 tonne Sailboat. As Nephalle could average at around 8 knots and our average speed was only 5.5 knots, she offered to tow us through to get us across this piece of water quicker. Special thank you to the yacht Nephalle and our Patrons ЁЯТЩ
